Traveling is a journey of the soul. Whether it is a visit to a different place or migration, moving to a new city, state or country, even becoming a refugee. The Virtual Artist is looking for work that expresses of the act of traveling and/or the results of traveling.
Artists over the age of 21 are eligible to submit work to this exhibition.
All work must be original and created by the artist who is submitting the work.
Artists are expected to have a well designed website and social media accounts.

Artists will be expected to submit a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 8 images or videos
and the URL (website address) for their website.
Guidelines For Digital Images
Accepting .jpgs and .gifs
.jpg – 7" maximum (504 pixels) in either direction and 72dpi
Animated .gif – 7" maximum in either direction and 72dpi

Labeling Your Images
The way you label your images can make all the difference in whether you are accepted for representation or not.
Please label your images as follows
Please make sure you use all lowercase letters and only use dots ( . ) for extensions (such as .jpg or .gif)
We are asking for this because it helps us keep track of your work.
Videos must be sent to us as links to an embeddable format such as YouTube or Vimeo.
When you are accepted we will ask for a separate file that we can post on Social Media and other venues.
Videos should be no more than 3 minutes.

DO NOT SUBMIT VIDEOS HERE OR CLICK THE SUBMIT BUTTON.
REMINDER: YOUR IMAGES AND VIDEOS ARE WHAT VIEWERS SEE
Your images and videos ARE what the viewers will see. It IS the art. Poor Quality Images and Videos will be disqualified. Please remember that the submission fee is non-refundable and once you submit an image or video your submission cannot be changed.
Your submission is final.
• Make sure that the lighting on your images is even.
(Turn Off The Flash On Your Camera.
• Make sure your work is perfectly cropped. (Don't even leave a sliver on the side)
• Make sure the color is 100% correct.
• Make sure there is no blurring anywhere in your image.
• Do not include the frame in your image. (Unless it is part of your concept).
• Make sure your image isn't even slightly skewed.

$20.00 for the first 3 images
$5.00 for every image after that for a maximum of 8 images.
There are no other fees.
(We don't even take a commission of any sales you make as a result of being in this exhibition.)
This fee is, however, non-refundable once you have submitted your work.
We use PayPal because we believe that it is THE safest way to pay for anything online and it is versatile. You can use all major credit and debit cards, pay from your bank account or PayPal account. You do not need to set up an entire PayPal account to pay. If you just want to use your credit card to do this there is a way. We cannot accept checks or any other means of payment at this time and we cannot wave jury fees for any reason. All payments will be made through The Artists Objective account.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY MATERIAL OTHER THAN WHAT IS ASKED FOR
It will not make a difference in whether you are selected or not.
Please do not contact us to see if your work was received or chosen.
You will receive a confirmation once you complete your submission.
Once Your Work Is Accepted
Accepted entries will receive detailed information regarding the next steps for online presentation. We will ask you for a specific description of the accepted work. We will also expect that you have a well designed website and we will expect you to link the exhibition to your pages on The Virtual Artist. We will also expect that you have social media accounts or be willing to create social media accounts on Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIN.

The Virtual Artist and The Artist Objective will make every opportunity to treat your images with respect and get the most publicity possible for you, once you are accepted to represent. We cannot be held responsible for copyright infringement or posting of your images by third parties on other websites.
